100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton
We sourced the best quality 100% organic cotton that is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified.
GOTS is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres. To be a certified manufacturer, all steps in the processing, manufacturing and trading of organic textiles must be certified to strict ecological and social criteria. This begins in the first processing stage of the cotton bolls all the way through to manufacturing and retail.
100% Organic Bamboo
We chose bamboo for our waterproof layer (with our TPU) because it is super soft and durable. Bamboo can be washed time and time again, whilst maintaining its original properties of quality, shape and snuggliness.
Bamboo is an antimicrobial, this means it will protect your child’s skin against harmful substances, clever, huh? The bamboo sourced for our waterproof sheets has been grown and harvested using no nasties and we can guarantee no chemical are used during the manufacturing process. Our bamboo is Oeko-Tex certified.
TPU WATERPROOF LAYER
Using TPU as a waterproof material significantly reduces the environmental and health impacts of plastics and addresses one of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time: microplastic pollution.
TPU as a microplastic is only transient in nature. Bacteria eat these transient plastics, turning them into harmless nutrients and carbon dioxide.
From there common microorganisms are capable, of eating them as nutrients. The best thing about TPU is it is waterproof! Making it a perfect application for our waterproof sheets. Using heat, it is bonded to 100% organic bamboo and then sewn into our 100% organic cotton fitted sheet.
